Cancellations and missed appointments
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. That lets us give the time to someone else who needs it.

How much does a psychiatrist visit cost in Orlando?
At Empathy Health Clinic, a self-pay initial psychiatric evaluation is $200 and follow-up medication-management visits are $155. Most insured patients pay only their plan's copay or coinsurance per visit. What a copay comes to depends on your plan and whether your deductible is met, so we verify your benefits before your visit and call you if anything looks different from what you expect.

Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are no membership fees, no facility fees, and no hidden charges. The cost we quote before your visit is the cost you pay.
What happens if I miss an appointment or cancel late?

Do you accept Medicaid?
No, we do not accept Medicaid (Medicare is accepted). Medicaid members are best served by community mental health centers in Orange and Seminole County or by federally qualified health centers, which can provide psychiatric care in-network.
